PARTYHAAD: How did you get started in the music business? JORDANNE PATRICE: I always loved music from I was a little girl because music is ever present at my house. I sang in the choir at church, performed at school concerts,did a few weddings and funerals and based on the response received, I knew that this was something I always wanted to do. I recorded my 1st two demos when I was 19 which received decent airplay and based on that I got introduced to Christopher Birch who produced my next two original songs.
PARTYHAAD: Do you write your own songs? JORDANNE PATRICE: Yes I do but recently I started co-writing with some very talented people. Big up Khaos!
PARTYHAAD: Do you play any instruments? JORDANNE PATRICE: No I dont.
PARTYHAAD: Have you had any professional vocal training? JORDANNE PATRICE: Yes, I attended Edna Manley School of Music and I had specialized training with a professional voice trainer.
PARTYHAAD: How your family feel about your musical career? Have they been supportive? JORDANNE PATRICE: Yes my family is very supportive and I'm blessed for that.
PARTYHAAD: Who are your musical inspirations? JORDANNE PATRICE: Anyone who is hot right now but artists like Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston are my everything! There's more but too many to name.
PARTYHAAD: Who are your favourite singers? JORDANNE PATRICE: Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Celine Dion etc.
PARTYHAAD: What's the name of your first song and who produced it? JORDANNE PATRICE: My 1st song was 'How Does It Feel', produced by Christopher Birch.
PARTYHAAD: Where would you most like to perform? JORDANNE PATRICE: I would love to perform at Reggae Sumfest or an award show like The Grammys.
PARTYHAAD: What do you think about when performing? JORDANNE PATRICE: I always hope I don't forget the lyrics and also try to be confident and fierce!
PARTYHAAD: What have you been up to lately? JORDANNE PATRICE: Right now just working on some hot music for the people!
PARTYHAAD: What can we expect from you in the future? JORDANNE PATRICE: You can expect more hot music and shows. Stay tuned! (laughs)
PARTYHAAD: If you weren't singing, what would you be doing? JORDANNE PATRICE: If i weren't singing I would probably in school for marketing.
PARTYHAAD: If you could dabble in another genre of music what would it be? JORDANNE PATRICE: Definitely Pop and R&B but my music is a mix of that anyway.
