PARTYHAAD: What's your stage name? KEIDA: Keida
PARTYHAAD: What's your birth month? KEIDA: September
PARTYHAAD: How did you get started in the music business? KEIDA: Danchall artiste and producer Leftside encouraged me to start a career in music after I had voiced a hook on one of his songs.
PARTYHAAD: Do you write your own songs? KEIDA: Yes but I’ve also co-written songs with other writhers.
PARTYHAAD: Do you play any instruments? KEIDA: No.
PARTYHAAD: Have you had any professional vocal training? KEIDA: No
PARTYHAAD: How does your family feel about your musical career? Have they been supportive? KEIDA: Definitely! My family is my support system.
PARTYHAAD: Who are your musical inspirations? KEIDA: Whoever im listening to at the time, and I have a looooong list of artists who I just love and some of those are Lauren Hill, Jr. Gong, Amy Winehouse, Sade and Tanya Stephens all of whom I consider great lyricists.
PARTYHAAD: Who are your favorite singers? KEIDA: I really can’t choose just one but Sade is always on my playlist.
PARTYHAAD: What's the name of your first song and who produced it? KEIDA: My first song was Jamaican Boy', produced by Craig “Leftside” Parks.
PARTYHAAD: Where would you most like to perform? KEIDA: Anywhere there is a large Audience.
PARTYHAAD: What do you think about when performing? KEIDA: I focus on holding the attention of the audience.
PARTYHAAD: What have you been up to lately? KEIDA: I recently got the opportunity to perform on the Sumfest Digicel stage at Sumfest 2010.
I just did collaboration with another well known Danchall artist called ‘I Am Life’ which is soon to be released. I also recently did a live show at Village Café which was a part of a series of live shows hosted by Quizz and Italee. The show featured other artists such as Protoje, Richie Spice, Tanya Stephens, J.O.E (jah over evil) and many others.
PARTYHAAD: What can we expect from you in the future? KEIDA: More music, and bigger and better things.
PARTYHAAD: If you weren't singing, what would you be doing? KEIDA: Well, im also a visual artist and graphic designer so I know I’d be doing something along those lines of creativity.
PARTYHAAD: If you could dabble in another genre of music what would it be? KEIDA: Well I already have messed around with other genres such as techno and R&B but id add Reggaeton to that if I had a chance.

PARTYHAAD: What are 5 things you can't live without? KEIDA: Music, God, family, art and food.
PARTYHAAD: What hidden talents do you have? KEIDA: I do graphic design, set design, costume design and I paint, anything to do with art.
PARTYHAAD: Are you comfortable with the way things are going for your musical career right now? KEIDA: You can’t be comfortable until your at the top so that would be a no, but im confident that may work level and drive will take me there.
